What is AI Stock Photos?
AI Stock Photos is a free, automatically updated gallery of professional stock photographs generated by artificial intelligence. Every image is created using OpenAI gpt-image-1 — the same model that powers leading creative tools — and published to this site weekly without any human photography involved.
The project covers seven categories with over 35 images and growing: business, nature, technology, people, abstract, food and travel. Each image comes with the exact prompt used to generate it, so you can learn from it, adapt it, or generate similar images yourself.

A GitHub Actions pipeline generates, indexes and publishes new images every week with zero manual work. No photographer, no editor, no studio cost.
Zero infrastructure cost
Images are stored in a GitHub repository and served via GitHub Pages — both completely free. No servers, no CDN fees, no hosting bill.

Stock photography is expensive. This project exists to give creators, developers and marketers access to quality visuals without a subscription.
Can I use these images commercially?
✅ Yes — free for personal and commercial use
These images are generated via the OpenAI gpt-image-1 API. Per OpenAI's Terms of Service, you own the output of images you generate and may use them freely for any personal or commercial purpose. No attribution to AI Stock Photos or OpenAI is required, though it is always appreciated.

How does the pipeline work?
The entire system runs automatically on GitHub Actions with no manual intervention:
New keywords are added to the catalogue weekly, ensuring fresh content without duplicating existing images. The source code is fully open on GitHub.
